Routine appointments:

Can be made up to 3 weeks in advance by calling the surgery anytime between 8 am and 6 pm. This will also provide you with more opportunity to see the doctor of your choice

We also offer an on the day service and these appointments are available from 8am each day. It is important to note that these appointments will depend on the availability of who is consulting that day. 

“On Call Doctor”

Every day one of our doctors is available “on call” to deal with emergency situations.

When you phone one of our highly experienced and trusted staff will discuss with you the nature of your call and where appropriate a clinician will phone back for a telephone or video consultation or to ask you to come to the practice.  

Home Visits

If possible please try to telephone reception before 10am if you require a home visit.

A doctor or nurse may phone you back as it may be that your problem can be dealt with by telephone advice, or that it would be more appropriate to send a nurse, or indeed arrange a hospital attendance.

House visits are only available for patients who are housebound because of illness or disability.

Training Practice

This Practice is a Training Practice and is also involved in the teaching and training of undergraduate students.  This means that, on occasion, patients may be asked if they would mind a student sitting in on the consultation.  You may also be asked if you would mind your consultation being video recorded for training purposes.  You are under no obligation at all to be involved in either of the above activities.

NEAR ME VIDEO CONSULTATION

The practice offers NHS Near Me video appointments, powered by the Attend Anywhere system.

To use this service you must have a booked video appointment with the practice. Your clinician or booking staff will be able to advise you whether a video appointment is suitable for you. You will be held in an online waiting room area and may need to wait for up to 10 mins before the video consultation starts ( hopefully it wont be that long)
