BREAST SCREENING HAS RESUMED FOR PATIENTS AGED 50-70.  THE SCREENING UNIT WILL BE BASED AT MORRISONS CARPARK, ANCHOR MILLS, PAISLEY, PA1 1GZ ON THE 10TH JUNE.  ALL ELLIGIBLE PATIENTS WILL RECEIVE AN INVITE FROM THE SCREENING SERVICE IN THE POST. When you receive your letter please contact the Breast Screening Service on 0141 800 8800 to confirm/change/cancel your apt.

Attached Services

District Nursing Team

nurse_care_at_homeThe attached District Nursing Team assess and provide nursing care to Patients in their own home. They provide advice, support and care for a variety of conditions and work in close liaison with the practice team and other support agencies.

Health Visiting Team

The health visiting team offers support and health advice to families with babies and children under 5 years on topics such as breastfeeding, postnatal depression, child development and information on local groups.  They assess the needs of the elderly who are housebound and are able to refer to other agencies as appropriate.  They also offer lifestyle advice on smoking, exercise and healthy eating.

District Midwife Team

The attached district midwife team from the RAH work with the doctors at the Ante-Natal Clinic in the surgery.  They are involved in the care of the mother and baby before, during and after the delivery in the hospital and at home.

Community Link Worker

Mr Ton McAuley

The link worker can support patient’s in linking them  with activities and resources in the community including: Benefit advice, housing advice, physical activity, mental well being, carers advice, volunteering and employability.
